Coat Rack
Project 9, uploaded 8.26.2011
A coat rack I designed and fabricated for the break-room at my old job. The letters were left a bit rough to show materials in the store being used (straight bars, steel angle, and round tube). Overall this project turned out very nicely and still hangs in the break-room to this day.

Dragon Mug
Project 6, uploaded 2.9.2011
This beer mug was an experiment to see what kind of detail my new vinyl cutter can pull off. The dragon was an interesting design with fine details.

Anodizing - A First Try
Project 5, uploaded 2.9.2011
After much internet research I found it would be much simpler to anodize aluminum than one might think. A bit of patience and the right supplies and it went well. These are just a few samples, more projects are soon to come.

Storage Rack
Project 1, uploaded 2.25.2011
Often finding the garage short on space, a rack for storing materials was a natural project. A few store-bought racks were attempted, but either were under-rated for the weight or were simply poor designs for holding half-sheets of metal (48"x48") or short lengths of tubing/bar stock. This was my solution, a rack with a section for sheet, bar, and tube stock as well as many shelves for the little parts. Only a few of the rack-pans are in place and along with a few other finishing touches. This will be updated once the rack has been completed and stocked.

Fishmouth Plotter
Project 4, uploaded 1.28.2011
There was a point in time where I found myself needed to accurately join round tubes in many configurations. The "drill-press jig" for cutting pipes helped, but did not seem safe. Also, to allow for flow, the adjoining tube was usually just drilled, however the actual mating surface was not round.
